When we went to Capalna we also took a quick detour to Aiud and from there to Rimetea. On the way, this is what we saw:

The Onion Fair
On the 23 of october we went again to Capalna. It so happens that around that day there is an annual fair in Sasciori, popularly called ”The Onion Fair” because people usually make their supplies of onion for winter on that day. It is also a fair where shepherds sell their merchandise and buy what is necessary for the winter: from animals to shoes.

Căpâlna and its everlasting beauty
We spent the end of 2010 in Căpâlna, Jojo's village. We met her mom and the country tthat she keeps talking about. Now I know she is right about everything she says: Căpâlna is a very beautiful tiny village, on the Valea Frumoasei region in Alba.

New Year 2010
This time we went to Căpâlna, to celebrate New Year”s Eve there, with Jojo”s mom. As usual, before midnight we had a Tarot reading, in which we all asked what 2011 will bring us and what could we do in order to have a really great year.
As you can see, I drew a very nice card, so 2011 will be a great year for me.
And yes, like I told you before, whenever I do something fun, Pixie is there, too :)!
At midnight we went out and shot some fireworks. It was great! Check out the film!
The next day we went to Cluj, to meet Jojo”s family (Sister and her family, actually). On our way to Cluj we stopped at Turda Salt Mine. Ever been there? Well you should cause it”s awesome!

Can you believe the big hall is called Rudolf? I didn”t know my cousin was here!
Pixie wants you to know that he was there too, but he was behind the camera!
So, in Cluj we met Jojo”s sister Iulia and her family:
Daria and Tudor, two very talented kids, as you can see
Then we visited the Town.
We also visited Alba Iulia:
and Sighişoara.
Amazing little town! We will certainly visit it during the summer!
Since it was cold, after visiting the old ”burg”, we went to a resto to grab a cup of tea! Deeeee-li-cious! I had mine with a slice of cheese cake and plums! A must-have!
